Documentário amador feito por Varg Vikernes e sua esposa Marie Cachet sobre antigas tradições pagãs. Não sei ao certo sobre o que trata o documentário, por isso gostaria de assistir, mas está muito difícil encontrar na internet. Encontrei alguns links de download em alguns sites russos de Heavy Metal, mas não obtive êxito.

ForeBears is an experimental film by husband and wife, Varg Vikernes and Marie Cachet. The theme of this film, and the overall historical theory behind Ancestral Cult, draws an ancestral lineage from Neanderthal man (with a symbolic and ritualistic focus on the Bear Cult), through ancient Egypt (all text in ForeBears is inspired by and based on The Book of the Dead), to modern European man. This evolutionary theory runs in conflict with modern man as Homo sapien with origins in Africa.

Varg Vikernes embarks on a spiritual journey leading back to the Stone Age. He sees the distant past through the eyes of his former self, and in so doing understands the meaning of the forgotten Bear Cult rituals that still resonate in the modern psyche. He discovers these age-old rituals are the root of all philosophy, tradition and religion.

The soundtrack is almost entirely ambient, filled with new and unpublished music from Burzum! Some of the music from this film will form the next Burzum album Sol Austan, Mani Vestan.
